The RO Group is delighted to announce that specialist shipping company, NMT Shipping, has taken space in the RO’s iconic quayside property, 5 Waterside Place in Southampton.
Founded in 1999, NMT Shipping is a highly specialised and leading global Roll on / Roll off (RoRo) shipping and logistics company headquartered in the Netherlands. NMT Shipping provides a service network via 30 dedicated own offices strategically located throughout the world and has representation in more than 50 countries.
NMT Shipping has signed a ten-year lease for 4,494 sq. ft. of prime office space on the first floor of 5 Waterside Place. This agreement comes off the back of a refurbishment of the building, which forms part of Southampton’s Town Quay development. The development incorporates offices, leisure facilities and the Red Funnel terminal from which passengers are whisked over the Solent to the Isle of Wight, contributing to the upbeat and appealing ambience of the area. The building is immediately adjacent to the A33, which is the main thoroughfare through the city, providing excellent road access out of the city.
